Sometimes I feel spoiled rotten. How could I forget that I have access to produce and goods from local farmers year-round. I claim guilty of having the Northwest ailment of not taking advantage of the bounty our region has to offer.
But then the West Seattle Farmers Market moved to the streets. They have officially moved to their forever home, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the large amount of goodies that I can get my hands on. In walking distance. Year-round. Pinch me now.
The gallery below shows the vendors I just really loved this last trip to the market. But really, you can't go wrong with any of the vendors. These are the ones that I know I'll be coming back for.
Visit one of the markets in your area, at least some time this summer, because you'll be surprised at the variety, taste and frankly the cost being at a lower price point than you'd think. If anything, you can clap your hands to the music of whatever street musician is playing on the corner. No better place to get food and entertainment, all in one.
